Passive Systems
If your section slopes steeply enough, your Wormsmart system can work without any electricity at all. A gravity pipe runs from your Wormsmart to a small flout tank, which is a natural dosing system similar to a siphon arrangement. You will not need a pump to be installed.
Wormsmart Primary Tiny Passive
Suitable for a caravan, tiny house or bach, the Wormsmart Tiny is designed for properties with up to 2 bedrooms, with a flow rate of 640 litres per day. It can be installed above-ground to make it fully transportable… ideal for any mobile home! A flout tank is not included but is an optional extra if required. $5,480.00 GST excl.
Wormsmart Primary Passive
Suitable for homes with up to 6 bedrooms with a design flow of 1,800 litres per day. All black- and greywater discharges from your home through a single pipe into the 3,000 litre polypropylene tank, where worms and bacteria work their magic. A flout tank is not included but is an optional extra if required. $8,600.00 GST excl.
Wormsmart Plus Passive
The addition of a small triple-chamber sludge trap and a secondary 3,000 litre filtration tank produces high-quality treated water. With no electronic gadgets, pumps, or complex components, the Wormsmart Plus Passive offers a simple, no-fuss wastewater treatment solution designed for long-term reliability and low maintenance. It is suitable for use with pressure compensated dripline (PCID). $18,400.00 GST excl.
Pumped Systems
If your property has insufficient fall for your system to be passive, we can simply install a lightweight submersible pump. This will silently disperse your recycled water once 3000 litres has accumulated. You will not require a dosing flout. All pumped systems operate on a simple float switch, your pump will only turn on when approx 3,000 litres of water accumulate, otherwise the system is dormant.
Wormsmart Primary Tiny Pumped
If your property isn’t steep enough for a gravity-powered dosing flout, it can be replaced by a small electric pump. Suitable for a caravan, tiny house or bach, the Wormsmart Tiny is designed for properties with up to 2 bedrooms, with a flow rate of 640 litres per day. It can be installed above-ground to make it fully transportable… ideal for any mobile home! $6,600.00 GST excl.
Wormsmart Plus Pumped
Perfect for large households and families, the WormSmart Plus Pumped is our most advanced residential wastewater treatment system. It includes a small triple-chamber sludge trap and a secondary 3,000-litre filtration tank that cleans wastewater to a very high standard. Designed for maximum performance and reliability, it is suitable for use with pressure-compensated dripline (PCID) irrigation systems.
Price: $19,700.00 GST excl.
Econo & Tiny Systems
WormSmart Econo and Tiny Systems provide a cost-effective, low-power wastewater treatment solution for tiny homes, caravans, cabins and other small-scale applications. Designed for one to two bedrooms, these systems are particularly well suited to intermittent occupancy, where periods of low or irregular use can challenge conventional treatment systems. Worm-based treatment technology thrives under these conditions, making it an ideal choice for holiday homes and part-time living situations.
The systems can be configured as either Passive or Pumped installations. For fully passive applications, the pump can be replaced with a dosing flout. Producing secondary-quality treated effluent, the Econo and Tiny Systems are suitable for pressure compensated drip irrigation (PCDI), providing an economical, reliable, and environmentally responsible long-term wastewater solution with minimal maintenance requirements.

Wormsmart Tiny Passive
The WormSmart Tiny Passive is a lightweight system designed for tiny houses or caravans. A cost effective off-grid solution with no ongoing power costs. Perfect for 1 bedroom, up to 2 people,, up to 640L/day flow rate. $11,200 GST excl.
How it works
Wastewater enters the system
All greywater and blackwater from your property is plumbed into the tank through one wastewater pipe. There's no need to separate them (unlike other systems). The worms even love food scraps from your kitchen insinkerator!
Nature does its thing
The worms then break down all of your waste and turn it into an organic humus. As the aerobic bacteria feed on this humus, they further cleanse and treat the wastewater as it filters through the tank.
Then it's gravity's turn
From the bottom of the tank, a gravity pipe runs to a small flout tank, which is a natural dosing system. From the dosing flout, a single pipe carries the water to the drainage field. If your property is on a level site and we need to give gravity a hand, we simply install a small electric pump and you won't need the dosing tank. Our lightweight pumps use very little power.
Your water is recycled
The water that leaves the system is colourless, odourless and nutrient-rich. It also contains smaller worm eggs and castings, which helps aerate your soil and fertilise your gardens. Your irrigation field can be buried out of sight, or mounted on the surface if more practical (e.g. in the bush amongst tree roots).
